Soon to be 17 year old Jonathan Pitre from Russell capture the hearts of Canadians after TSN shared what he and his mother go through on a daily basis with his condition known as EB. Pitre has undergone a second and seemingly successful stem cell transplant of part of a clinical trial designed to help improve his quality of life.
The hope is having white blood cells from his mother in his system it will create thicker skin less likely to blister and also heal quickly. We hope this good news story continues to get better.
