Local actor Tyler Murree is coming home later this month for a special screening of his first major movie role in Generation Wolf where he plays the second lead. Murree has a long resume of “cool” gigs which led to this film. He as been in many commercials from Coors Light ads to Zantac. My personal favourite is the dental floss role in a Listernine spot.
Murree has also enjoyed tremendous success on stage appearing in musicals like Dirty Dancing and Les Miserables, both in Toronto and Broadway. He’s also done some voice work for an animated show called Truck Town.
Here he is as Thenardier in Les Miz.
On November 18th you can check him out right here in Cornwall on the big screen. Murree will then be part of a Q&A with the audience following the film. Find out more here.
Murree is happy to come home for something like this. “I am thrilled to have a screening of my feature film debut in, not only my home town, but in front of a community that has shown me nothing but love and support since I started performing in high school and community plays 20 years ago. This is a dream come true for me.”
