I don’t say it enough and feel some shame to have to arrive on International Women’s Day to be reminded of just how important you are to me. There are so many little things you do that sometimes I don’t notice enough and I hope this can shed some light on just how much of what makes me tick and succeed comes from what you do.
In a career with many wonky hours you never question why I need to go to events as emcee or guest to help support causes. You never complain about making the lunches every morning for our two kids(I know I would complain). You are always doing some of the simple things not only because they are necessary but you love doing them and you do it with such grace and a smile. For all those small things…THANK YOU.
For the amazing mother and teacher you are giving not only our kids, but your students, a strong, independant role model to see in action everyday. Your work ethic, the way you handle the toughest situations with such care and compasion is not lost on me or others around you. For all the things you teach our kids and others, even without saying a word…THANK YOU.
I always say behind every good man there is a great woman. You are that woman. You are my best friend, my confidant, my soulmate, and the enegry source I use to get through each day. You’re there to listen and compliment on the good days and also there to console and brighten up the harder ones. You are at the core of every success I have ever enjoyed in my personal and professional life. You inspire and motivate me through your words, your smile, hugs and loving glances. You have helped me become the man I am today…THANK YOU.
Even after writing all of this I still feel it falls short of the thanks you deserve for so many things that enhance my life each and every day.
I love you,
