If you’ve been following my posts regarding my wife, I would like to update you on her situation. After having “Cervical Spinal Surgery”, which fused her vertebrate in the neck area, she has developed complications with her left shoulder. After a cat scan it revealed muscle and nerve damage , which is really collateral damage. It means a much slower recovery at the Ottawa Civic.
Mary Ann is a strong lady, and has done so much to make my life to make it a lot easier. I am really finding this out the last couple weeks as she did the cooking, washing, cleaning floors and everything else under the sun. She’s outstanding, and a “rock” to many people, including the clients she takes care of through her “Personal Support Worker” job. I am getting calls asking when Mary Ann will be back because we miss her. Now, it come to the point in her life, that she’s the one that needs to be pampered. I’m there every step of the way.
Question: Is there any point in your life you had to take care of a loved one?
