I’ve had my motorcycle license for 5 week now and have already put over 2,000kms on my ride. I’ve been all over SD&G and to Valleyfield, Hawkesbury, Brockville, Vankleek Hill and many other places.
I waited 15 years to get my motorcycle and I have not been disappointed and the more I ride the more I love it. There was some part of mye who wondered “what if after all this time I don’t like it that much?” but that is far from the case.
Despite all the fun I am having there is one thing missing…my riding partner, my wife, Celine. The entire time I pictured myself riding I always saw her on the back so we can go on open air adventures and discover so many treasures and other scenic routes as a couple.
The problem right now is that I cannot take a passenger until next Tuesday due to the graduated licensing system. I’m pretty excited to be less than a week away and brought her shopping the other day.
As you can see I took her to Irwin Supply on Tollgate and got her outfitted and ready to roll. Tom, Troy and the gang down there have been great since I started my adventure and not just outfitted her but all my gear came from there and they have been amazing to deal with. If you’re thinking about getting a bike, servicing a bike or need some gear these fellas know their stuff. Feels more like hanging out there than shopping.
Now the countdown is on to the adventures I dreamed about for years on the bike with Celine. I can’t wait to see what’s in store down the road.
