Living in Cornwall and SD&G means there a some small town moments other in large centres never get to experience. On Saturday morning me and Bill were travelling up County Road 34 past Lancaster en route to Alexandria when we spotted a a man riding a horse and walking his dog at the same time. To me, this was an amazing sight and just another of the thousands of reasons I love this area.
We talked about it on the boom breakfast this morning and had one of our colleagues send us this photo taken in Lancaster a week or two ago. It doesn’t end there…a facebook post told us the horse’s name is Willy and the man goes by John and all those who live in and around Lancaster know them. The small town charm is amazing around here and this is a perfect example.
Whatever his name is, one thing is for sure. This guy is efficient taking care of two animals at a time. Also he needs to be given a platinum “MAN CARD” that can never be revoked. Keeping riding your horse and walking the dog sir…it wouldn’t be SD&G without it. Thank you for helping make this area such a gem to live and travel in.
