A couple weeks ago I told you about a courageous lady named Brittany Maynard who was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer on New Years Day, soon after her marriage. She and her husband moved from California to Oregon, to avail herself to the “Dying With Dignity” law. Her symptoms were getting worse with excruciating headaches and to avoid the grief her family would go through, like she said she would, took her life yesterday, with prescribed lethal drugs, husband and families at her side. She was dressed in her wedding gown, the music she loved playing softly.
The point I want to make is simple and a matter of opinion. Question: Who are “You“? Answer: “You” are in the “Now“. My Mom was a great example, and I’ll always remember her zest for life, living in the present , not the past and future. I’m now learning to enjoy, soaking up every moment and becoming aware of everything around me. Live for you and everything that’s important to you and make your choices. Appreciate your life as an adventure by looking forward to it, experiencing new things. Enjoy the ride, you have one chance to do it.
