The Paul Deslauriers Band jammed live on boom 101.9 this morning with great tunes from their self-titled album and it was awesome! You can catch them live in Cornwall this Friday night at Aultsville Theatre at 8pm when they perform with special guest Graham Greer. The show is called Safety Rocks! and the proceeds are going to Victim Services SDG&A.
Here is a segment from this morning’s show.
Here is the band performing their tune Goin’ Down Slow live in the boom studio this morning.
We were also joined by event organizer Donna Forget for a bit who expalins where the money from the show is going in greater detail to help victims of violence feel safer.
We had a blast after the show with the guys who stuck around and talked a bit more in depth about the band and the show this weekend. They love helping out, even part of their merchandise proceeds are going back to the cause on Friday.
Here is our behind the scenes chat with Paul, Sam and Greg (a man of few words).
Before they left the studio I requested my favorite tune from the latest album, Nobody’s Fault But Mine, and they tore it up with an extended version I cannot wait to see plugged in on Friday night. Have a listen…
I hope to see everyone out at Aultsville Theatre on Friday night. The doors open at 7pm for a meet and greet with the band and the show starts at 8pm.
To purchase your tickets you are encouraged to do so ahead of time a Scotiabank on Brookdale Avenue since they are matching ticket sales dollar for dollar. Tickets are $30 each but worth $60 to Victim Services of SDG&A if you go through the bank.
See you at the show!
