Over the last year or so, the NHL has found a super fan in Hollywood actor Cuba Gooding JR. You know him from his biggest films like Radio, Men Of Honor and his Oscar winning performance in Jerry Maguire.
Turns out he is a fan of the fastest team sport in the world so the NHL asked him to help with last year’s Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, he made the next day headlines due to one too many cocktails at the bar before going on stage. See the result below.
And the Cuba Gooding JR/NHL fun continued this week in Chicago when he hit his mark in between periods and showboated for the fans.
Cuba’s antics maybe a bit unorthodox for the usually stiff NHL way of things but it’s great to grandstand every once in a while to really show what Pro Hockey is all about.
