Before I lived in Cornwall, I used to live in Busan. Ever heard of it? Probably not, eh? Well, it’s in South Korea. Ever heard of it? Probably not, eh? It’s in Asia. Ever heard of it? Probably not, eh? Umm…how can I explain…it’s where Psy and Gangnam Style is from. Ok, now we are on the same page. I thought I’d do a comparison of the two cities so let’s start with a couple of Google Map images
A little bit of a size difference, right? Busan has about 4,000,000 people which is about 100 times larger than Cornwall. Yeah, that’s different. Let’s move onto food.
So, the people of Busan enjoy live octopus when they are out on the town. Yes, it may seem a little disgusting but once you get past the squirming of the tentacles, it is quite enjoyable. But both foods, poutine and live octopus, are dangerous in their own separate ways. Poutine will clog your arteries and kill you and live octopus will block your throat and choke you to death, if you aren’t careful. So chew fast!
Those are just a couple of differences. Keep reading this blog and I’m sure you’ll learn some more about my former home.
Until next time!
